Education collaborative

Welcome to The Education Collaborative by FRAC, where we are dedicated to supporting education and culture through innovative and creative programs. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for children and their families, particularly those affected by the challenges of war, to continue their development and education. One of our flagship programs,

The Colors of Heritage, involves the use of the open museum approach, focusing on collecting traditional household items, domestic artifacts, traditional embroidery, tapestry, and various forms of native art. These collections are used by teachers and their students for educational purposes in real time.

Program Overview:

At ArtsforMeds.org we believe in the transformative power of education and culture. Our unique program combines the rich history of traditional items with the creative exploration of art, fostering an environment where children and their families can learn, grow, and thrive.

Engaging with Tradition:

Our open museum approach involves collecting old traditional items that represent the cultural heritage of the communities we serve. From household artifacts to intricate embroidery and tapestries, these items serve as a window into the past, connecting children with their roots and heritage.

Creative Learning:

We provide art supplies and engage children and their families in hands-on, creative activities that go beyond traditional learning methods. Our teachers are not only educators but also artists and experts in various fields. They introduce new techniques that not only enhance artistic skills but also instill transferrable skills applicable to a range of future professions such as engineering, architecture, medicine, and teaching.

Building Transferable Skills:

Our program goes beyond the immediate benefits of artistic expression. By teaching techniques that are applicable in various professions, we empower children with skills that can open doors to diverse career paths. We believe in providing practical knowledge that extends beyond the classroom, preparing them for a future where creativity and adaptability are essential.

Safe and Supportive Environment:

In times of war, providing a safe and supportive environment for children becomes even more crucial. Our program aims to be a haven where children can escape the challenges of their daily lives, fostering a sense of security and encouragement to pursue their education and personal development.

Art Contests for Children:

To further encourage participation and nurture confidence in their own abilities, we organize art contests for children as part of our program. These contests serve as a platform for young artists to showcase their creativity and express themselves freely. By participating in these contests, children not only expand their artistic boundaries but also gain a sense of accomplishment and pride in their abilities.

Breaking Borders:

Our program goes beyond geographical, economical, and political borders. Through creative exploration, we aim to expand the horizons of children, encouraging them to explore the world beyond their immediate circumstances. Art becomes a universal language that transcends barriers, fostering a sense of unity and interconnectedness.

Join Us in Building a Better Future:

At ArtsforMeds.org, we invite you to join us in building a better future for children and families affected by the challenges of war. Through our unique program, we not only preserve cultural heritage but also empower the next generation with the skills and confidence they need to overcome adversity. Thank you for being a part of our mission to support education and culture through creative methods. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of children and communities, fostering a brighter and more hopeful tomorrow.
