Art and community work is a shared passion in Yolych Family. Myhajlo’s mother, Svitlana is also devoted to supporting other parents with children with additional health needs and limited communal resources. She finds strength to increase inclusiveness in her community so less children feel left out. Therefore, Svitlana has become a valuable member of our team driven by her passion to improve living and learning standards for children in forgotten or overlooked sectors of our society.

Svitlana not only contributes her artwork, such as traditional Carpathian beaded Herdana necklaces, but also supports activities of The Colors of Heritage program from her home in Ukraine. She helps sourcing art supplies for Studio activities, helps with organizing presents and exhibitions, runs art masterclasses for people with disabilities, as well as holiday events – just like a real fairy godmother bringing smiles out wherever  she goes. We are grateful for the wonderful members of our Artsformeds.org community!
